Become a volunteer and receive a free visit to a Midsummer Night at Oud Poelgeest!

Every year, on June 21st, we celebrate the longest day on the estate of Kasteel Oud Poelgeest. To celebrate this supreme moment, Kasteel Oud Poelgeest organizes the 4th edition of a Midsummer Night at Oud Poelgeest. A summer evening with a live performance by the 40-piece classical orchestra PM.

Prior to this classical concert, Kasteel Oud Poelgeest will also provide a musical program on the festival grounds between 18:00 and 20:30 and a cracking closing from 21:45 to 22:30. Visitors can order drinks at mobile bars and food at food trucks, at their own expense.

For the 2025 edition, we have once again added a facilitating role to our event by allowing neighbors who need support to participate in this event.

Inspired by the action Hart onder de Riem of Stichting Radius, Kasteel Oegstgeest wants to look for 50 volunteers. The intention is that this volunteer, in collaboration with social broker Sietske Steenbergen, will be paired with a resident from the area. This volunteer will take care of the person in question as a supervisor and buddy. Both persons will then receive free access to the Midsummer Night concert from us.
