Historic column restored and placed in the Boerhaave garden

Thanks to the support of the Rabo Clubactie and the efforts of the Stichting Erfgoed Oud-Poelgeest, a special historical column has been given a second life. The antique column, which was in poor condition, has been expertly restored and has now been given a new place in the Boerhaave garden. From decay to restoration The column, originally from the garden of the Oud-Poelgeest garden house, showed considerable signs of wear and rust. Thanks to the financial contribution from the Rabo Clubactie, a thorough restoration could be carried out. The column has been carefully cleaned, treated and repainted to preserve its original appearance. A valuable addition to the garden After the restoration, the column has been given a prominent place in the Boerhaave garden, where it contributes to the historical ambiance of the area. The placement not only marks a successful restoration, but also underlines the importance of heritage conservation and the community's commitment to maintaining cultural heritage. With the restoration and relocation of the column, a piece of history has been preserved and a new generation can enjoy this special piece of heritage in the Boerhaave garden.
